Auto-saving

Your edits are safer now. After the first save, the editor saves changes automatically as you work, about a second after you stop typing, so switching tabs or closing the page no longer risks losing anything. Auto-save waits until a creature has been saved once, so half-filled creatures never spawn records, and a gentle reminder tells you so.

The editor also learned to judge your creature. Pick a challenge rating and it compares your armor class, hit points, save DC and attack bonus against the benchmarks from the guide, live as you type. A chart above the form shows how far each stat sits from its target, and small High, On par and Low hints appear next to the fields themselves.

A "Recommended stats" dialog lists the targets for your CR if you would rather read them straight. Attack bonus and save DC are projected from your highest ability modifier and proficiency bonus, so the guidance works before you have written a single action. Not interested? One switch turns all of it off and the editor remembers.
