Habitats

Creatures now have a habitat. The Identity section of the editor lists the thirteen habitats from the 2024 Monster Manual as checkboxes, plus a box for your own tags if you need something like Feywild or Sunken Temple. A creature can sit in as many habitats as you like.

Tagged habitats appear at the foot of the statblock, and on library cards as badges. The library filter bar has a Habitat filter to go with the others, and it lists your custom tags next to the standard set, so you can pull up every swamp creature you have written when the party wanders into one.

Homebrewery exports carry a Habitat line, and importing from 5eTools brings its environment tags across. SRD creatures have no habitat data of their own, so the filter does not show up on that tab.
